Customer Support Engineer

Function description (roles / accountabilities):

Under this position the candidate will play a role in our Customer Services group, she/he will be in direct relation with our prestigious customers to support and guide them in their use of our product and services.

The candidate will utilize his knowledge of various physical domains to support and train our customers in the use of CAE solutions to solve, fix and optimize Mechanical, Fluid and Thermal systems.  A good understanding of post-processing tools such as Design Optimization, Parametric Study, Linear Analysis, Order Tracking as well a  the various techniques of modeling is required.

While this position is a great opportunity for candidate wishing to grow him/herself in the domain of design and analysis of complex systems, it is also an opportunity to elevate his/her technical skills and become one of our consultants.

Desired

  • Educational Level:  The ideal candidate has a Master degree in Mechanical Engineering and excellent academic credentials.
  • Experience:
    • Has 2 years experience in mechanical engineering.
    • Knowledgeable on certain Automotive and/or Off-highway and/or Aerospace applications. 

      Be capable of collaborating with the administrative, sales and technical resources.
      Our clients require US citizens.
  • Specific technical competencies:
    • Has some knowledge of 1D System CAE software such as AMESim, Simulink, Easy5, FlowMaster… Any system level simulation software tool.
  • Specific personal competencies:
    • Good communication and presentation skills
