LMS International today announced that Mahindra & Mahindra, India’s leading manufacturer of utility vehicles, light commercial vehicles and tractors, recently selected LMS SYSNOISE and LMS FALANCS to predict the acoustic and durability performance of their vehicles.
The Scorpio, codename of Mahindra & Mahindra’s new generation MUV, is being developed in-house with a dedicated team of 124 engineers, using an integrated design and manufacturing process and cutting edge tools and technologies. The Scorpio will be a completely new MUV with features and characteristics comparable with the world’s best MUVs. To ensure global levels of quality, design and validation inputs for the Project are provided by some of the world’s best consultants, including LMS International. The Mahindra & Mahindra development team are using LMS SYSNOISE and LMS FALANCS to predict the acoustic and durability performance of their vehicles, and have access to a fully-loaded LMS CADA-X system for physical prototype testing.
