The LMS Qsources Measurement Amplifier, a complete solution for hardware power supply

Measurement amplifier
The LMS Qsources Measurement Amplifier is the perfect link between the LMS Difa Frontend and all available LMS Excitation hardware. This dedicated amplifier is able to power both Sound Sources and Structural Exciters offered by LMS. The Measurement Power Amplifier allows the user to transform low power signals from signal generators, like front-ends, PC-audio-cards, headphone exit, sine or noise generators, etc. into accurate power signals for low or moderate impedance loads that require amplified power signals.

The high output voltage combined with a broad output load impedance makes this power supply suitable for many types of exciters.

The construction is both mechanically and electrically robust and functions almost without any noise production which are important requirements for an amplifier used in a test environment.

In order to prevent any damage to the sophisticated exciters, extensive electronic protections are build in.
The housing and dimension are designed in that way to fit within the LMS Difa Frontend series.

Main technical characteristics of LMS Qsources Measurement Amplifier:

Maximum input signal voltage:   10 volt peak
Maximum output voltage:   31 volt RMS
Maximum output current: 6.5 ampere RMS
Minimum/maximum output load impedance: 3 to 100 Ohm
Self noise level: Below 20 dB(A)
