Hydraulic Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) has expanded one of the important systems of safe vehicle operation for the majority of drivers. Recent attention of the hydraulic control unit has been focused on the in-vehicle driving tests and the hardware-in-loop experiments, because that nearly all of the important measures of the hydraulic units have to be chosen in this way. However, these tests take designers a mass of times to match the hydraulic control units for different types of the vehicles. In this paper, a model to investigate the effect of hydraulic ABS on the vehicle's overall stopping distance and time has been built with LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim. This model describes the hydraulic control unit, the vehicle and an electronic control unit.
