Simulation of a Hydraulic Excavator in LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim

Hydraulic excavators are popular devices in construction field because of its multi-workings and economic efficiency. This paper presents the development of a simulator for an hydraulic excavator using LMS imagine.lab AMESim. The simulator can be used to forecast excavator behavior when new components, new mechanical links, hydraulic circuit changes, and new control algorithm are applied.
