Function description:
- Development of software for the aqcuisition of measurement data from Structural Testing, Signature Testing & Environmental Testing. Tasks include:
- Analysis & design
- implementation
- testing
- documentation
- delivery
- Maintenance & optimisation of existing measurement tools
- Grow IT & application knowledge: OO design & analysis, digital signal processing & measurement methods
- Strong focus on optimal data transfer from the frontend (hardware that digitises & formats analog signals) to the software application on the host PC
Desired:
- Industrial or Civil Engineer
- Knowlegde of digital signal processing (DSP) & object oriented software development (OO) in C++
- Experience in controlling external hardware for data-acquisition is a plus
- Windows XP
- Unified Modeling Language (UML, Rational Rose, Visual Modeler, ...)
