Extending the pioneering tradition of developing our integrated test lab, LMS has undertaken a similar endeavor for the CAE communities. We have accelerated the delivery of the first integrated virtual prototyping environment, LMS Virtual.Lab, by partnering with PLM market leader Dassault Systèmes. We deliver full integration of leading FEM codes such as ABAQUS, ANSYS, CATIA CAE, NASTRAN and PERMAS. We cooperate with our CAE partners to ensure seamless interoperability. LMS also implemented an indirect sales channel strategy, to better cover the markets it serves beyond the core automotive and aerospace industries.

Partnering for technology leadership
For over more than a decade, we are working with customers and leading research institutes within the framework of international research projects such as the European Community Research Framework programmes, to develop new technologies that will meet the future engineering challenges. At any time, LMS has around 15 major multi-partner research projects, ongoing. Quite often, LMS will take on the role of project leader. The co-funding we receive allows us to invest more in developing innovative solutions and our research partners have direct access to the resulting cutting-edge technologies well before any marketable products become available.
