Save time - eliminate the hassle

Manage your end results seamlessly before you even start with the centralized post-processing management found in the new Results Manager. This new feature stores pre-defined variables accessible to all post-processing modules right along with the LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim model. This practically eliminates individual postprocessing set-up and significantly improves your entire run.

At a glance

  • Improved post-processing with centralized management
  • Immediate access to postprocessed scalar values
  • Post-processing definition stored directly with model
  • Cross variable functionality and plotting for quantity tracking during runs

LMS Imagine.Lab 04.jpgCustomize on-the-fly

Customizing LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim has never been easier thanks to the new Python scripting and application plug-ins. You can quickly and easily define and designate customized commands and scripts as well as pre- and post-processing according to your requirements. The circuit Application Programming Interface (circuit API) lets you embed LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim in your own application and generate macros to automate application-specific tasks.

At a glance

  • Simple script and application management
  • A straightforward generic tool to automate specific tasks
  • Time-saving LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim macro generator
  • No advanced programming required

Co-simulate with LMS Virtual.Lab and LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim

Working with other simulation programs is a snap thanks to LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim’s enhanced interoperability with LMS Virtual.Lab Motion. From within LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim, users can simulate both system and threedimensional designs using both LMS Virtual.Lab Motion and LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim solvers.

At a glance

  • Co-simulation between LMS Virtual.Lab Motion and LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim solvers
  • Easy access to 3D simulation for LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim users

LMS Imagine.Lab 06.jpgNI LabVIEW® interface exports models to real-time targets

With the integrated NI LabVIEW interface, LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim users can export AMESim models right into NI LabVIEW real-time test benches – creating an actual physical system around the AMESim model. It is a perfect solution for automotive, aerospace and offhighway customers who need to design and validate engine control unit (ECU) strategies using hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test benches.

At a glance

  • LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim model export to LabVIEW simulation module
  • Compatibility with National Instruments software and hardware
  • Offline mode to test models before realtime target export
